Ryemarket Christmas Performance
Ryemarket has seen a strong trade over Christmas, bucking the national trend and seeing improved sales performances from many of its retailers.
Centre manager Kelley Dyas say’s, “with the ever increasing use of online shopping people still need and want a thriving local town and the local community in Stourbridge understand that if shops and the town aren’t used, they will lose them. The retailers and my team work hard to bring visitors a clean and safe place to shop with a wide range of products to choose from. Online is an easy way to shop, but you can’t beat a browse around stores like Roman, Waitrose and Home Bargains to see what they have in store and with Amazon boxes and click and collect services in Waitrose, Boots, and Peacocks, it’s about working with the ever changing shopping environment. The retail sector isn’t easy at the moment but with the continued support of the local community Stourbridge and the Ryemarket can continue to buck the national trends”
