MEET OUR MOUSE RYELY - 18 Dec 09
Nearly 100 entries were received from young shoppers in The Ryemarket who we asked to take part in a competition to name our new mouse mascot. 
It was a difficult choice with so many entries but we have selected the name Ryely suggested by 10-year-old Cameron Randle, of Spinney Close, Wordsley.
Cameron has now been into The Ryemarket to collect his prize of £50 worth of shopping vouchers from Ryely and Father Christmas and they are all seen in our picture, right.
The Ryemarket's centre manager Karl Taylor, who was the judge, said he was delighted so many youngsters had entered the competition and said Ryely would be making many more appearances in the centre in the coming weeks and throughout next year.
He congratulated Cameron on his win and hoped everyone would agree that it was a really appropriate name.
